Yes so, I've been busy and not on dA all that much lately. Suffice to say that last semester was incredibly hectic and stressful, and I am very very glad it's over.
Since my last update, I've opened a Tron-based B/C shop (basically, a group RP where people get art of their characters and help build a fanon world), The Grid. I have to admit that since opening it, I think my art has improved by leaps and bounds; having an external stressor really motivates me to work very hard on improving. There may be a huge art dump soon, but in the meantime, take a look at *pinkchocobo13, who's my fantastic coartist at The Grid, and without whom this whole thing would've fallen flat.
I'm thinking of opening another B/C this winter, a modern fantasy/horror mashup with postapocalyptic and dystopic flavors that draws on psychology (specifically the concepts of the id, ego, and super-ego). I've got an avalanche of ideas, but I won't be able to run it without hiring other artists and mods, so we'll see how that goes.
And finally, because I am totally not busy enough with all that other stuff, I'm working on a huge multimedia project. It also involves modern fantasy/horror, but has a stronger emphasis on the postapocalyptic aspect, as well as exploring the many faces of morality. I'm planning a long narrative, a series of short stories, a bestiary, an artifact catalogue, and possibly an interactive map.
...yep, addicted to stress.
